NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel announced Monday that it has deployed an additional 28.2 MHz of spectrum in Eastern Uttar Pradesh along with advanced network software tools to boost its high-speed data capacity in the state.

On 28.2 MHz, Airtel has deployed additional 5 MHz spectrum in the 900 MHz band, 3.2 MHz in the 1800 MHz band and 20 MHz in the 2300 MHz band to improve network availability and data speeds as well. than better indoor coverage of homes and buildings in cities and urban areas, according to an official statement.
