Career fair for humans and their pets
Phoenix-based retailer PetSmart will host a national hire day on July 14 to fill positions in retail and distribution centers. Applicants can visit any store and bring their pets for interviews. The company aims to add 6,000 employees to its 1,600 stores nationwide. Open positions include retail associates and grooming stylists.
PetSmart offers medical and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits for some employees, including merchandise discounts of up to 50%. The company is looking to add more than 200 associates in its stores, a call center and a distribution center in the Phoenix metro area.

Gila River Arena, home of the Arizona Coyotes, will look to fill more than 200 part-time and event staff positions at a career fair on July 15 and 16 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the arena .
