TruTac, the experts in tachograph analysis and fleet compliance, showcase their product range at this year’s CV Show on stand 4D03. The modular set can expand to accommodate any size fleet and is designed to simplify compliance management by providing a one-stop-shop to save operators time and money.
The company’s market-proven products are suitable for all fleet sizes and industries and include TruAnalysis, for full tachograph compliance; TruChecks for daily vehicle driver check; TruLicence which allows a quick verification of the driver’s license; TruFleet for complete fleet maintenance management, and soon to be launched, TruVan which enables full compliance for Van fleets. TruVan – the new compliance tool for LCV operators
Launched in May, TruVan is a comprehensive application and web-based back-office management system enabling compliance with DVSA best practices and operating guidelines for all van fleets.
TruVan provides minimal risk exposure and compliance with rules and legislation, all in one easy-to-use system. Enterprise administrators get protection while benefiting from demonstrable reports and dashboards for complete audit control. Designed as a modular system in a single portal, TruVan has the flexibility to grow with each individual business.
TruVan modules include: – time clocking and timesheet control, GPS geotagged app, visit checks with DVSA templates, fully configurable templates with accident report, compliance best practices, DVLA driving license checks and vehicle maintenance and planning. All come with online document management and storage for a full and comprehensive audit trail.
New features for better control
Integrated into the TruControl portal, many new features are presented at this year’s show:
Allowing rapid and precise identification of vehicles, TruTac Vehicle Details API is directly connected to DVLA API to extract specific vehicle data, essential for fleet managers. This critical but additional data, displayed both in the system and in reports, includes tax status, vehicle make and colour, engine size, DVLA recorded CO2 emissions, fuel type and the year of manufacture.
New for “no tachometer” drivers
“Tachograph-less” drivers – drivers who do not drive vehicles that require a tachograph, such as vans, cars or other drivers – can now create a profile that will appear in the drivers calendar.
This allows operators to stay legal by accurately and easily ensuring that all drivers are working within the Working Time Directive, by adding fixed, variable and recorded variable entries.
Newly designed TruDriver page for easier navigation
TruTac’s TruDriver Managers page has been redesigned with a new “contemporary view” to further improve ease of use and data navigation. The upgraded configuration comes with improved filters and a modern layout that allows for easier data assimilation, manual creation of non-tachy drivers, and calendar entries for vacations or absences.
Full control of assets and maintenance
TruFleet now includes costing functionality, for greater asset management control. Additionally, TruFleet now allows to add ANY asset (such as FLTs) and to have scheduled inspections or any other regular maintenance process scheduled for the asset (eg LOLER). Additionally, all related documents such as inspections, insurances or certificates can be uploaded and kept in one secure location for easy retrieval and auditing.
Microlise integrations
As TruTac is part of the Microlise group, there are a number of new integrations with Microlise products, including single sign-on and streamlined APIs to provide a smart advantage to joint customers. These offer clear advantages of aggregated data to reduce costs and improve fleet management for customers with multiple group products.
